mathMs. Daigle's Class Wins Mathnasium party!

Mrs. Daigle's third grade class won a field trip to Mathnasium through the Skinner Walkathon.  They walked to the Mathnasium center in the West Loop and enjoyed an hour of fun, interactive math stations.  The kids created geometric shapes, searched for numerical patterns in the digits of pi, played cards games that tested their mental math skills, and much more.  Each student rotated through ten activities and earned a prize at the end.  Thank you to Mathnasium and Friends of Skinner West for generously awarding this field trip.  The class had so much fun and learned a lot about math!

NBC is a rigorous, standards-based process and is considered to be the most respected professional certification available in K-12 education. Just under 3% of all teachers are certified nationwide. Way to go Mrs. DeJulio!
