3rd Grade Wax Museum
Last Friday, March 9th, third grade students presented their annual Wax Museum. Each student dressed up as a favorite African American hero and participated in the 'wax museum,' where they gave a speech stating important facts about their hero. Students froze in position awaiting their visitors. Parents, teachers, and students who visited the Wax Museum pressed a button on a frozen figure's shoulder and then listened as scientists, athletes, entertainers, politicians, and activists told their own life stories. Thank you to the Skinner community for supporting these students and congratulations to our 3rd grade superstars!
PARCC Testing will take place at Skinner during April (April 3rd - April 20th). Your student's homeroom teacher will have more information on specific dates for your child's grade. For more information regarding PARCC testing, please click here
