ENGINEERING
ENGINEERING CONVENTION
Congratulations to our 3rd grade superstars!  They presented their Invention Convention projects to parents, students, and faculty this morning in the lunch room.  Students built robots, invented their own project, or reverse-engineered an electronic item (like an Xbox or toaster!).  Judging by the sounds in the room, they had a great time!

MLK
MLK DAY CELEBRATION
Last week, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all students from Kindergarten-8th grade wrote their own dream statements for the city, our nation or the world.  These statements are posted in our hallways and bulletin boards throughout the building.  Teachers also selected two Superstars from their homeroom to read their dreams over the intercom. The statements of peace and positivity were both inspiring and a great way to celebrate Dr. King's legacy.
