5th GRADE HEALTH EDUCATION
Beginning January 16th, all 5th grade students will participate in a 3-day course on human reproduction, growth, and development taught by Ms. Westy (physical education teacher).  This course will be completed by February 2nd.

Day 1 Self Esteem
Day 2 Puberty
Day 3 Human Reproduction

Your child's participation in the worthwhile unit of study is completely voluntary.  If you wish to have your child excused from participation, please inform Ms. Westy via email at jwestendorf@cps.edu

Save the date, January 26th from 5-7:00 p.m.! 
Pre-sale for K-2 artwork!
K-2 parents: If you can't attend, pre-purchase your child's artwork by sending $40 cash or check made out to "Gallery 111" to the art room or Ms. Bovit's mailbox. Don't forget to label your child's name on the envelope! In addition to the activities listed below, there will be an exciting surprise performance by our Superstars!

  • Have your child get a good night's rest.
  • Have your child eat a good breakfast on the mornings of testing, and arrive to school on time.
